I am now venturing into the blog world. At first I thought this was way too "techy" for me, but then I realized, wow this is a great way to get my thoughts out and share them with the world. I believe the Lord wants me to be more expressive, because I used to have such issues with suppressing my thoughts and then they would spill out when I was either drunk or upset. Not anymore my friends and for anyone in the past who has been a recipient of my "vomit" of emotions, I am so sorry. I believe blogging will help me to express some of the things I might be struggling with. A verse that struck me a few weeks ago relates perfectly with this.
2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
Profound.
My blog will not just be about me sharing my hardtimes, struggles, and sufferings. How depressing would that be? I will share how the Lord is using me, the joys I share with my family and friends, and interesting stories from Colorado. Well, I hope this will be enough for you guys to click on my blog ever so often.

- I have recently given my life over to the Lord. It has been the greatest joy I have ever felt in my life. I finally have accountability in my life, that I have desperately needed. Through Christ I have the strength to push through anything life throws at me. I love my family and my friends. They are truly such a blessing. I am a southern boy from raising, but I have bounced around the country to stretch myself into the person I am today. I graduated from the University of Florida, so that makes me a proud Gator fan, Go Gators! My brother and I share an apartment in downtown Denver and we are learning how we are so different, but as God says, "We are fearfully and wonderfully created." Psalm 119. I feel that God is leading me to do His work. By helping others who are less fortunate and those suffering with the trials/tribulations of this world. This has just been shown to me over the last few months, as God has been the light of my life! He has truly shown me that no prayer goes unanswered, but it is in His timing. My love for others has taken a whole new level and I look forward to what God has to offer. *2 Corinthians 12:9-10*
